The Spiritual Laws

God has not just established Physical Laws which govern the Universe, He has created Spiritual Laws which govern our relationships with Him, with each other and with Nature. These Laws are all eternal, unchanging and cannot be broken.

Spiritual journey

We have been created in the image and likeness of God and are spiritual beings although we have physical bodies which are required to function on the physical plane. Often we forget or ignore who we really are and become immersed in the world around us.

God loves us and wants us to return to be One with Him and has given us Spiritual Laws which, when obeyed, will lead us back to Him. We will be reunited with God after death through salvation if we have been true to God’s word according to mainstream Christian belief, as there is only one lifetime. Many other religions believe we will have to reincarnate in other bodies over an unspecified number of lifetimes until we have learned the lessons needed to balance our Karma.

Spiritual Laws in practice

Putting the Spiritual Laws into practice in daily life is not easy as it requires effort and dedication to our Spiritual Journey through this earthly life. It is well worth the effort as life becomes more peaceful, harmonious and satisfying: healing takes place at all levels. It is not just ourselves who benefit, others will too.

A deeper study of the Spiritual Laws can be found  by attending one of our Workshops.

Essential Laws

Law of Cause and Effect (Karma)
Every cause has an effect and every effect has a cause. Another way of stating this that every action has a reaction. The Bible tells us “As ye sow, so shall ye reap”.It is important to be in control of our thoughts, words and deeds to avoid negative consequences. Those who believe in Karma and Reincarnation understand that the effects of actions in one lifetime will return in a future lifetime.

Law of Unconditional Love
Loving others unconditionally is to expect nothing in return and respecting their free will. It means no demands, no judgment and no expectation.
This isn’t easy to apply but it brings benefits for all involved.

Law of Forgiveness
Holding on to grudges and resentment ties us to the past, hindering our Spiritual progress. Forgiveness releases us and others involved to move on. It isn’t a sign of weakness but of unconditional love.

Law of Gratitude
Often we forget to be grateful for the simple things in life. Take time each day to count your blessings and this will bring positive energies into your life.
Give thanks also for lessons presented and learn from them as this is how we evolve spiritually.

Law of Oneness
We are all part of the Divine and therefore must recognise the Divine in others. As we lift our consciousness above the physical problems we experience we understand the interconnectedness of all life and the importance of treating all others with love and respect.

Law of Responsibility
Taking responsibility for thoughts, words and deeds allows us to create our own reality. We are responsible for our Spiritual Journey and cannot blame others. We can always turn for guidance to our Higher Self which will always be loving towards all involved.

Law of Compassion
This Law links with Unconditional Love. It’s about being aware of others’ needs and being willing to assist without judgment. Being prepared to share what we have with others, sending out healing prayers and loving thoughts, whether we know the person or not, shows we understand the Oneness of all life.

Law of Abundance
Abundance is having what we need when we need it. It isn’t about wealth, but trust that we will be taken care of. As we give so do we receive. As we let go of fear of not having enough and give of ourselves we find that what we give out comes back to us.
Abundance is the free-flowing of gifts – you receive them and you pass them on.
